The ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish Open will see some top British names vying for the title when it takes place this July at Dundonald Links, host for its fourth consecutive year.
Two-time LPGA Tour title winner Charley Hull makes her 10th appearance at this event, having finished in a strong 5th place last year. Hull will be hoping to improve on that result this summer when the event takes place at the Darwin Escapes venue from 24th to 27th July.

“I love playing the ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish Open. Dundonald Links is a great host, and staying onsite makes everything so easy for us players. I’ve had a few decent finishes here and had a top 5 last year, so I will look to improve on that this summer. I love the challenge of links golf, and it’s extra special for me playing the event as an ambassador of ISPS HANDA,” said the eight-time Solheim Cup player. Hull has an impressive record on links courses, so her appearance at this event will be one to watch.
Leading the home challenge this year will be Scotland’s own LPGA Tour winner, Gemma Dryburgh.
“It’s always a special week at the ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish Open,” she enthused
“Having all my family and friends there to support me, as well as playing in front of the Scottish crowd, is so much fun. I’ve been working hard and feeling good about my game, so I’m really looking forward to being back in Scotland and embracing the unique challenge of links golf.” The 2022 TOTO Japan Classic champion makes her ninth appearance at the Women’s Scottish Open and carries the hopes of Scotland for a native victor.
Another familiar name taking part is 2019 AIG Women’s Open Champion Georgia Hall.
Hall has played in the event over the years, achieving her best place finish of T9 in 2017 and hoping to improve on her T12 finish last year.
A popular player, Hall, is certainly a big name at this event, as is rising star, 24-year-old, Mimi Rhodes.
Currently ranked Number 1 on the Ladies European Tour, this will be Rhodes‘s debut at the ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish Open. It will be interesting to see if Rhodes‘ current excellent form (having already claimed three wins on the LET this season) delivers her another piece of silverware.
The 2025 ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish Open marks the second year with ISPS HANDA as title sponsor.
The event continues to be hosted by Dundonald Links, having returned there in 2022 after a multi-million-pound makeover by owners Darwin Escapes, which transformed the club into one of the UK’s finest golf resorts. It was also previously held there in 2015, 2016 and 2017, so there is a long-standing history between the tournament and the course.
Strongly supported by both the Scottish Government and VisitScotland, the 2025 ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish Open is set to be a display of some of the finest golf on the challenging links course against the stunning backdrop of Ayrshire’s “golf coast”.
Tickets are available now from the tournament website at Women’s Scottish.
