Unlike the men’s majors, the women’s major championships are a little harder to culminate into a list. This is mainly due to the fact that both the names of the women’s major championships and what is considered a major have changed over the years.
Patty Berg remains the LPGA’s all-time leader in major victories with 15. However, eight of these wins are retroactively recognised as the Women’s Western Open and Titleholders Championships from before 1950
The current LPGA major tournaments include the Chevron Championship, US Women’s Open, Women’s PGA Championship, AIG Women’s Open (formerly Women’s British Open), and The Amundi Evian Championship.
