Whilst we enjoy a glut of good weather in the UK at the moment, the thought of waterproofs and pullovers are probably far from mind. However, autumn is starting to creep up on us so it maybe time to turn your clothing attention from shorts, polo shirts and caps to vests, gilets and longer sleeves.
PING has started the ball rolling when it comes to autumnal-into-winter golf gear with the launch of their new AW25 men and women’s range.

Their new collection emphasises weather-ready functionality and advance technology, whilst delivering a bold sense of style for the course.
Jackets
For the women’s range, the AW25 collection features Clo® Insulation technology, designed to provide more breathable insulation, warmth and comfort. This innovative approach offers an incredibly soft, lightweight and stretchy feel, providing female golfers with superior thermal insulation that elevates flexibility and warmth.

The Casey is the warmest jacket in the new collection. Featuring the Clo® Insulation tech, this jacket has an exceptional lightweight feel with insulation across the front, back and sleeves. For enhanced mobility and comfort, stretch fleece panels feature on the side body, underarms and lower back, ensuring unrestricted movement during the swing.
For the men, PING has revolutionised its waterproof jacket lineup, by introducing three new standout designs, providing golfers a choice of performance benefits to suit their game and style.

The first in their new offering of jackets is The Impervious.
This waterproof jacket is a quiet waterproof. It is ultra-soft and thanks to its flexible 3 layer knitted, breathable fabric, it is a lot quieter than many other waterproof jackets on the market. This jacket also features innovative seam-free construction under the arms, ensuring enhanced overarm mobility and complete freedom of movement.

Also in the men’s jacket range there is the new AquaDrive.
This stylish jacket is crafted with a 2.5 layer performance fabric. Highly breathable, this jacket is designed for superior comfort helping to keep the wearer cool and dry as the body warms up whilst the weather gets wetter.
There is also the AquaDrive Half-Zip Jacket. Same spec as the Aqua Drive in terms of being extremely lightweight and highly breathable, this jacket has a half-zip fastening, making it more of a water-proof pull-over than a jacket but without the bulk of a sweater / jumper.
The AquaDrive range (which also includes trousers/pants – see further down this article) is waterproof to 10,000mm offering superior levels of breathability and waterproof protection.

The third of the men’s 2025 jacket collection is the all-new Norse Cocoon Jacket.
A new piece in the evolution of PING’s renowned Norse Series. PrimaLoft® is a key component of the Norse series and this jacket has been engineered for superior lightweight warmth and stretch in cold weather with this insulation in the sleeves, back and side body. Combined with ThermoPlume® insulation in the front body, this jacket provides golfers the perfect blend of ultimate warmth and lightweight freedom of movement during the coldest rounds.
The Norse Cocoon is also available in a “vest style” jacket.

Fleeces
The fleece is now a staple of any golfers wardrobe. Warm, comfortable and stretchy, PING has unvelied some new designs for the outdoor enthusiast.

The women’s AW25 range introduces the Clare fleece jacket.
This elegant garment features printed front panels in an eye-catching floral pattern and includes Clo® Insulation for exceptional warmth and comfort across the the upper front and back body panels. Its brushed-back fabric and stretch construction delivers enhanced comfort and freedom of movement.

The Astbury is a standout fleece in the men’s 2025 collection. This half-zip hybrid fleece also features Clo® Insulation.
The Fleece has a zoned upper front body panel that is constructed with Vivo Extreme, a patented perforation that offers extreme breathability and four-way stretch, perfect for comfort and movement in varying conditions. This versatile layering piece is a first for PING and can be worn with the AquaDrive Jacket for added warmth and waterproof protection.

For those looking for a hooded fleece, PING has added a new style to the collection this year, the Nexa. Designed for comfort and warmth against the wind, this garment also features a water-resistant finish for added protection. This hooded fleece is two-toned with a camouflage pattern that is knitted into the fabric for a bold and more-modern look.
Vests. Tops and Trousers
Layering is key during the colder months so included in PINGs AW25 collection are garments for both men and women ideal to be paired with their jackets and fleeces.

In the women’s range, PING has included some exciting vest options.
The Samantha is a lightweight reversible vest enhanced with Clo® Insulation technology, Eco Pluma. Eco Pluma insulation offers a warm synthetic alternative to down.
The Samantha is available in three colours with a printed design on one side or the choice of a block of colour on the reverse. This is a versatile layering piece and with cleverly placed discreet pockets this is the perfect garment for that transition into autumn temperatures.

Also on offer is the Seren Vest. This is a longer length vest / gilet option Just as stylish, the Seren has stretch fleece panels on the sides, shoulders and lower back keeping the wearer warm with plenty of flexibility in the fabric to move.

The stalwart polo, a staple garment for the male golfer, has two new incarnations in the AW25 collection. The Julian Polo features three impactful print designs: a PING Eye Mark micro dot, a multicoloured mini flag, and a brush stroke camo.
This SensorCool® polo is engineered for comfort in all weather conditions.

Also new is the Creek Long Sleeve Polo, engineered for moisture-moving comfort in all conditions with its heathered SensorCool® fabric. Like the Julian Polo, the Creek Long Sleeve Polo is a classic garment to supplement this collection’s new mid-layers and jackets.
A long-sleeve top and two new sweaters have also been included in the AW25 women’s collection.

The Jasmine is an athletic, sportier looking printed top designed with SensorCool® technology, making it incredibly lightweight and breathable, ideal for both on and off the course and can be paired perfectly under the Samantha and Seren vests.
The Melodie and Lockett sweaters are staple colder weather pieces but with an updated look.

The Melodie is a lined half-zip sweater with rib and cable detailing and is crafted with SensorWarm® technology to protect the wearer from the elements.

The Lockett is a roll neck sweater, a classic and sophisticated layering garment which is lightweight yet warm and extremely comfortable to wear – perfect to keep the wearer cosy but without impacting movement in the arms or body.

The final piece to mention from the new PING range is the AquaDrive Pant (trousers) that are ideally paired up with either the AquaDrive Jacket or AquaDrive Half-Zip Jacket that PING has put out for the men.
These pants offer exceptional performance in wet conditions without compromising mobility. These trousers offer exceptional performance in wet conditions without compromising mobility and are waterproof to 10,000mm offering superior levels of breathability and waterproof protection (as do the jackets). Available in black or navy, these are a must for any golfer based and playing in the northern hemisphere.
