OGIO Launches 55-Litre Renegade Go Bag for Work and Travel

The new travel bag switches between backpack, shoulder and hand-carry configurations, with 10 pockets, a separate shoe compartment and weather-resistant panels.

OGIO Europe has launched the Renegade Go Bag, a 55-litre addition to its established Renegade travel collection. Designed for work and leisure travel, it offers several carrying configurations within one bag.

The Go Bag is available in Black and Dune, with Greenwood completing the colour range. Selected products elsewhere in the Renegade collection are also being refreshed in Graphite Heather, although that colour has not been announced for the Go Bag.

Three carry options for different journeys

The three-way carry system is the product’s main functional feature. Removable ergonomic backpack straps allow the bag to be carried hands-free, while an adjustable duffel strap includes a shoulder pad. Reinforced handles at each end provide the third option for lifting the bag by hand.

The setup could be useful when moving between a railway platform, hotel and golf club. Backpack mode keeps both hands available for other luggage, while the shoulder strap offers a more conventional duffel configuration.

A large D-shaped opening provides access to the main compartment and is designed to improve visibility during packing. The design also features 10 functional pockets.

Storage features include quick-access exterior sections and internal mesh pockets. A separate shoe compartment keeps footwear away from clothing, making it relevant for golfers packing for a weekend round or combining golf with other plans. OGIO also supplies an accessory packing cube, which can be used inside the main compartment or rolled up for compact storage.

Recycled fabric and coated panels

The main body uses 100% recycled polyester 630D cross-dobby fabric with a water-repellent finish. OGIO has combined this with heavier TPU-coated 900D polyester, while the recycled polyester lining also receives a water-repellent treatment.

Coated top and bottom panels provide further protection from wet surfaces. Compression straps can help control the load, while exterior lash points create space for attaching additional items. Oversized lockable zippers and reinforced grab handles complete the construction, which OGIO says is intended to withstand years of heavy use.

The bag measures 10.2 inches high by 22.4 inches wide and 13.7 inches deep. Its listed weight is four pounds. OGIO makes no claim that the dimensions meet airline cabin-baggage rules, so travellers would need to check their carrier’s allowance before flying.

Michael Birch, head of Callaway Performance Gear & OGIO, said: “The Renegade collection continues to resonate with travellers by combining durability, versatility and smart organisation in a bold, modern design.”

Birch said the Go Bag adds greater adaptability. It extends a Renegade collection that already spans travel packs and luggage.
