Jeeno Thitikul overturned a two-shot deficit with an 8-under 64 to win The Standard Portland Classic by one stroke on Sunday at Columbia Edgewater Country Club.

The 23-year-old began the final round in third place at 14-under, behind co-leaders Arpichaya Yubol and Sophia Schubert. Five consecutive birdies early in her round moved Thitikul to the front, and she finished at 22-under 266 to collect her third LPGA Tour title of 2026.

Yubol shot 67 and Chanettee Wannasaen produced a bogey-free 63 to share second at 21-under. Schubert, seeking her first LPGA victory, closed with a 71 and finished fourth at 17-under.

Thitikul Reaches 10 LPGA Victories

Portland gave Thitikul the 10th LPGA title of her career and made her the eighth player to reach that total before turning 24. She has recorded 63 top-10 finishes in 99 LPGA starts, with career earnings now at $19.7 million.

Her other victories this season came at the Honda LPGA Thailand in February and the Mizuho Americas Open in May. Since joining the LPGA as a rookie in 2022, she has recorded at least two wins in each season other than 2023.

Thitikul attributed the victory to the work she put in during uncertain periods in her game.

“I would say every win it’s means [because of] the sacrifice that we put in, the work we put in,” Thitikul said. “I mean – you know, I’ve had a time that I doubt, like, what is going on in my games, and then, when you get it, you’re just like, wow, this is what you’re waiting for.”

Yubol and Wannasaen Finish One Shot Back

Yubol entered Sunday sharing the lead after closing the third round at 16-under. She made four birdies on the front nine, then recovered from a bogey at the par-5 12th with birdies on Nos. 17 and 18.

It was Yubol’s third runner-up finish of the season, following solo seconds at the Riviera Maya Open at Mayakoba and the ShopRite LPGA. She is still searching for her first LPGA title.

“I can say the best year for me,” Yubol said. “Like every time like too close, just a little bit. You know, I’m do my best on my game every shot. Like this week, too.”

Wannasaen began four strokes behind the leaders but made nine birdies without a bogey. She turned in 32, birdied four times across the first six holes of the back nine and made her final birdie at the 17th.

Her 63 matched the closing score she recorded when she won at Columbia Edgewater in 2023 as a Monday qualifier. Sunday’s tie for second was also her best finish of the 2026 season.

Five of the tournament’s top-10 finishers were Thai. It was the first time since the 2021 Honda LPGA Thailand that Thai players occupied the first three positions in a standard stroke-play LPGA Tour event.

Schubert Takes Fourth

Schubert had reached a 54-hole LPGA lead for the first time after finishing Saturday with consecutive birdies. Her final-round 71 left her four strokes behind the runners-up, but fourth place was her first top-10 finish of the season.

The American returned to the LPGA Tour this year after finishing 10th in the 2025 Epson Tour Race for the Card. She entered Portland at No. 125 in the LPGA season points race. The finish could help her retain playing status for 2027.

Cink erased a four-shot deficit with a closing 65 before birdieing the first extra hole at The Club at Snoqualmie Ridge. Jiménez forced the playoff after a record back nine.
