2021 Epson Tour graduate and LPGA Tour rookie Amanda Doherty recorded a second-straight 67 at Massereene Golf Club to stay at the top of the leaderboard at 11-under. She holds the lead or co-lead after 36 holes on the LPGA Tour for the first time.

“I was hitting the ball well to get it close enough for them to go in, but they were just falling in, and that was definitely the best part of my game on the front nine,” said the American. “And then tried to hang on on the back. Yeah, I was putting really well today.”

Dane Emily Pedersen and American Lauren Coughlin sit in a tie for second at 10-under. Both carded 68s at Galgorm castle.
“Definitely a confidence boost going into the weekend, but there is still two more rounds to be played,” said Coughlin, “I’m trying hard to stay in the present each hole. I know it’s cliche, one shot at a time.”
“It’s obviously great to start like that. It makes you want more. You start to think, how low can this go?” said Pedersen. “Yeah, still good to go the rest of it 1-under par, and hoping I can keep making birdies on the weekend.”
