Following weather delays on Friday and Saturday the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship was reduced to 54 holes.
Robert MacIntyre made a single bogey at the penultimate hole at the Old Course and closed with a 6-under 66 to reach 18-under and win by four shots.
“Unbelievable. Any time you can win a golf tournament on these shores is special. But I’m just delighted with the way I’ve done it,” said MacIntyre.

MacIntyre becomes the first Scottish winner of the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship since 2005, one week after helping Europe to win the Ryder Cup.
“I don’t know how we’re going to celebrate after the celebration we had last Sunday! We’ll try our best. I don’t know if it’ll be tonight but it’ll be over the next couple of weeks,” he added.
“We’ll have a nice celebration. Any time you can win, it’s difficult to win. It’s just a beautiful ending to a good week.”
England’s Tyrrell Hatton, also part of the Ryder Cup team, shot a bogey-free 65 and finished second at 14-under.
South Africa’s Richard Sterne fired four birdies and three bogeys for a 71 and tied for third place at 13-under alongside England’s John Parry who eagled the par-5 5th and made five birdies and one bogey for a 66.
Six players tied for fifth place at 12-under including Scotland’s Scott Jamieson who made four bogeys and closed with a 70 and England’s Jordan Smith who finished with a bogey-free 65.
