- Adrian Meronk won the 2026 Alfred Dunhill Links Championship at 20-under-par.
- Meronk finished one shot ahead of Casey Jarvis to claim his fifth DP World Tour title.
- Meronk and Tom Chaplin also won the Team Championship at 41-under.
Adrian Meronk ended a 1,078-day wait for his fifth DP World Tour victory at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, coming from behind at St Andrews to finish one shot ahead of Casey Jarvis on 20-under.
The 33-year-old Pole last won at the 2023 Estrella Damm N.A. Andalucía Masters. Ten years after making his first professional start at this championship, he returned to the Old Course to secure a title that also preserves his playing status for next season.
“It’s unreal, to be honest,” Meronk said. “I never usually cry, but this one feels really special and I’m sorry, I’m just lost for words.”

Meronk Takes Control on the Back Nine
Meronk began Sunday two shots behind overnight leader Jarvis, having surged into contention with a 9-under 63 at Kingsbarns on Saturday.
A 35-foot birdie putt at the 1st halved the deficit, and another from ten feet at the 2nd brought him alongside the South African, who opened with two pars.
Jarvis regained the outright lead with a birdie at the 4th after finding the right side of the slope. Both players then birdied the par-5 fifth, before Meronk produced an important par save at the 6th.
Meronk went long with his approach to the 7th and dropped a shot, but a brilliant approach to two feet at the 9th brought another birdie. Jarvis three-putted the same hole in the final group, leaving the pair level with nine holes to play.
Jarvis’s next mistake came at the par-3 11th, where he left his tee shot short and failed to get up and down. Meronk, already playing the 12th, hit his approach to 11 feet and holed the birdie putt to take the outright lead.
Meronk added another birdie at the 14th before Jarvis holed from off the green at the 15th to keep the contest alive.
The Road Hole tested both players. Meronk’s approach went over the back of the 17th, finishing on a narrow strip of grass between the path and road. His third found the back fringe and his par putt came up just short. Jarvis also bogeyed the 17th, and Meronk’s closing par proved enough to secure the title.
Meronk drove into the Valley of Sin at the last, then found himself thinking about two of the game’s greats as he crossed the bridge towards the final green.
“Actually, when I was crossing the bridge, I talked to myself,” he said. “I was actually thinking about Tiger Woods and Jack Nicklaus walking on the bridge, and I was kind of asking for that good momentum, good energy from them, and it was just a great feeling. I really enjoyed that walk.”
Playing Status and a Team Double
Meronk had been pursuing the points needed to retain his DP World Tour status.
“I’m super happy that I achieved that goal, but definitely I will have to reevaluate my goals for rest of the season and see what happens,” he said.
Meronk also became the third player in the championship’s 25-year history to win both the individual and team titles. He and amateur partner Tom Chaplin finished the Team Championship at a combined 41-under.
“I played really solid golf. We did a great job with my caddy, Stuart,” Meronk said. “It was quite stressful at times, but it was a lot of fun also playing with my partner, Tom.”
“He played great golf as well. We did a great job as a team. Whenever I struggle, he got my back and the other way as well,” Meronk said.
Fleetwood Shoots the Lowest Round
Niklas Nørgaard finished at 18-under, signing off with a birdie at the final hole at St Andrews.
Tommy Fleetwood carded 64, 8-under, the day’s lowest score, while Scotland’s Michael Stewart closed with a 66 that included a holed wedge for eagle at the par-4 13th.

“I just think it solidifies the fact that you can compete,” Stewart said. “You can definitely compete at this style of golf.”
