Sebastián Muñoz of Colombia shot a second-round 69 to retain a share of the lead at 15-under in the AT&T Byron Nelson.

"It was not perfect golf," said Muñoz. "Yesterday was super easy, today was a little tougher. We had a lot more in between numbers, we struggled with the speed of the greens on the front. It's tough to back a 60, but I feel like I did a good job of closing the round and going out with a 69.

He was joined by local Ryan Palmer who shot a bogey-free 62 as well as 40-year-old Tour rookie David Skinns from England who fired his career-best round with a 63.

"I felt good about what I've been doing," said Palmer, "playing yesterday shot a nice 5-under which felt over par after what Munoz did.

"But today it was just coming out knowing you got to shoot low on this golf course. The things I'm working on, Randy Smith and I have been working on, it's just staying in the moment, hitting the shots I need to and I feel like it's some of the best putting I've been doing lately and it showed today. All around the game is, the chipping, the driving, everything's working right now."

Skinns has made twenty starts on the PGA Tour over the past decade and has yet to have a top-25 result.

"I played well yesterday that helped. I put a new driver in play on Wednesday and I think last week I was 154th in driving, which you can't, you can't compete," said Skinns. "And I realized my driver was broken, actually, the face was broken and I've been playing with it for who knows how long. So we got that fixed thanks to the Ping guys on Wednesday we got that sorted out.

"I drove it well yesterday and I felt like I could do the same again today and I did and I got in a nice run there in the middle where I believe I made five in a row, which it's one of them where you just, you're feeling it, you're in the zone and I just rolled it in to playing a nice back nine as well."

Another Tour rookie at 33, American Justin Lower's 66 placed him in fourth at 14-under. His best result on Tour so far was a tie for 15th at this year's Corales Puntacana Championhip.
