Cameron Adam and Antoine Rozner share the Danish Golf Championship lead after both broke the course record during Friday’s second round at Great Northern.

Frenchman Félix Mory opened the tournament with a 65, but his record lasted less than 24 hours. Rozner posted a 64 to reach 11-under before Adam produced nine unanswered birdies in a 63, joining the Frenchman at the top of the leaderboard.

Ewen Ferguson sits one shot behind after a bogey-free 65. Julian Perico, Matthew Jordan, Romain Langasque, Brandon Stone and Caleb Surratt are another stroke back at 9-under.

Perico’s 66 also made him the first Peruvian golfer to make the cut in a DP World Tour event.

Adam closes with a record-breaking birdie

Adam earned his DP World Tour place through last year’s Global Amateur Pathway Rankings, but the 23-year-old has recorded only one top-10 finish this season, in Kenya. He entered the week 125th on the Race to Dubai Rankings.

With his opportunities expected to be limited during the Back 9, Adam needs points at the Danish Golf Championship and at the Nexo Championship on home soil. His second-round performance has put him in position to improve that standing.

“It’s the best round of my professional career so far,” Adam said. “I’ve just got to build off it and go and have a strong weekend.

“I’m excited. It’s going to be different and a first experience for me on tour but I’ve got to embrace it and go and see what happens.”

Adam made his first birdie after a precise approach into the second. He then took advantage of the driveable fourth and added gains at both par-5s on the front nine to turn in 32.

His iron play drove the charge after the turn. Adam created birdie chances inside 15 feet at the 10th, 12th and 13th before converting from 25 feet on the 14th.

A wayward drive at the 16th and a three-putt par on the 17th slowed his progress without costing a shot. At the par-three 18th, he struck his tee shot over the water to six feet and holed the putt for the outright course record.

Adam will earn $30,000 from Nexo if his 63 remains the record through Sunday.

Rozner takes advantage of calm conditions

Rozner’s 64 was his lowest round of the season. The three-time DP World Tour winner has registered three top-10 finishes in 2026, although he arrived in Denmark after missing consecutive cuts.

“I just played good golf and holed a lot of putts as well,” Rozner said. “I think I took really good advantage of the low wind early on in the day and just played very good.”

Starting from the 10th, Rozner birdied the par-five 11th and made further gains at the 14th and 15th. His only bogey came at the 16th following a poor tee shot, but he responded with birdies on the next two holes.

Rozner continued his run with a skilful pitch at the first, then picked up further shots at the fifth, sixth and eighth to reach 11-under.

Ferguson leads the chasing group

Ferguson completed his 65 without a bogey, while Langasque also kept a clean card in a 66. Perico and Surratt matched Langasque’s score, Jordan returned a 67 and Stone signed for a 69.

Two-time Masters champion Bubba Watson and Chinese teenager Yanhan Zhou are tied at 8-under. Former champion Rasmus Højgaard is one shot further back alongside Filippo Celli, Todd Clements and Freddy Schott.

The 12-hole par-three layout adds a shorter, flexible option for families, beginners and accomplished players at the four-time Open Championship venue.
