Sean Crocker held on to his one-shot lead after following up his opening 63 with a bogey-free 66 to reach 15-under in the Hero Open.

"It’s always tough to come back out the next day after playing really well," said the American.

"It was a little bit calming and nice to get out there, get off to a decent start, and just keep plodding along through the golf course."

"Nothing crazy (has clicked on the greens this week)," he continued. "I enjoy the greens. Me and Stevie (his caddie Steve Pettit) are working well together, we’re just getting up, picking a line, and not thinking more. Just stroking it down the hole and hoping it goes in.

"I just want to have some fun, have some laughs on the golf course, hit good golf shots and see what the total adds up to at the end of the week."

Scotland's Scott Jamieson carded a bogey-free 64 to move into second place at 14-under.

England's Ross Fisher (66) and Jonathan Thomson (65) are tied in third at 13-under alongside Spain's Adrian Otaegui (67) and Scotland's David Law (66).

Scotland's Ewen Ferguson and South Africa's Wilco Nienaber both broke the course record set by Crocker in the first round with bogey-free 61s. Nienaber is tied in eight place at 12-under while Ferguson lies in a share of 15th at 10-under.
