Matilda Castren played a final round 65 to reach 14-under and become the first Finnish winner on the LPGA Tour on Sunday.

MEDIHEAL Championship 2021 R4

"I was definitely nervous, so my mindset was just going in thinking one shot at a time, one hole at a time, and see what happens, and just trying to enjoy the day because it was my first time in the final group. I thought it was great for experience no matter what happened. It just turned out I had a great day on the course and got the trophy.

"It's a huge honor to be a winner as a rookie, and especially first one from Finland. That's a really big honor."

MEDIHEAL Championship 2021 R4

Castren started her round two strokes behind leader Min Lee and birdied her first three holes before firing an eagle at the par-5 5th. She made the turn in 30 after another birdie at the 9th then made one more at the 18th.

"It's been a dream of mine to win since I was a little girl, and to see it happen and just to win, it's such an amazing feeling." said Castren. "There is nothing that compares to it. One of my thoughts was, `Well, I don't have to go to Q-School this fall.'"

MEDIHEAL Championship 2021 R4

Lee fired four birdies and a bogey at the par-3 17th to close with a 69 and finished second at 12-under.

"I think I'm playing good today," said Lee. "Obviously, she played much better on the front, so I'm not going to punish myself because it was a great week."

Hannah Green (66) and So Yeon Ryu (67) tied for third place at 8-under.

MEDIHEAL Championship 2021 R4

Celine Boutier set the 18-hole tournament scoring record with a 64, hitting 15 greens in regulations on Sunday.

“I feel like the first couple of hole started kind of slow, but they're also tough holes. At the same time, I was also happy to get away with a few pars to start off the round. The eagle definitely got me a little bit of momentum.”

Boutier tied for fifth place at 7-under alongside Jenny Shin, Jenny Coleman and Danielle Kang.
