Play was suspended overnight at the Omega European Masters following several suspensions due to heavy fog at Crans-sur-Sierre Golf Club leading to half the field not starting their rounds.

Round 1 will restart at 08:00 local time on Friday. Round 2 will not start before 14:00 local time.

England’s Richard Mansell fired six birdies and one bogey to close with a 5-under 65 and take a share of the lead.

Spain’s Ivan Cantero eagled the par-5 14th and made one bogey to take a share of the lead with one hole still to play.

South African Richard Sterne made an early bogey and five birdies and currently lies in a share of third place at 4-under through thirteen holes alongside Switzerland’s Ronan Kleu who made two bogeys and also has five holes left to play.
