Provision Events Completes Genesis Scottish Open Fan Experience Village

The project was the first completed event under a three-year tournament partnership, with the delivery team now moving directly into further championship work during a packed July schedule.

Provision Events delivered the Fan Experience Village at the 2026 Genesis Scottish Open. The event was the first under a new three-year partnership tied to the DP World Tour tournament.

The company designed and built the village before managing it throughout tournament week. The Genesis Scottish Open was held from 9–12 July at The Renaissance Club in North Berwick, with a practice day open to spectators on 8 July.

The village combined interactive experiences with sponsor activation areas. Dedicated visitor spaces also gave spectators a place to spend time away from the course, extending their day beyond following the 156-player field around The Renaissance Club.

Provision Events said the installation served thousands of spectators, although it did not release a precise attendance or footfall figure. The company was responsible specifically for the Fan Experience Village rather than the tournament’s entire temporary infrastructure estate.

First Event in Three-Year Agreement

The completed project begins a three-year arrangement under which Provision Events will deliver the village alongside the DP World Tour team. The company announced the partnership on 7 July, two days before the opening round.

Provision Events has worked across professional golf for more than two decades, providing fan engagement and temporary event infrastructure for tournament organisers and commercial partners. Its previous projects include partner stands and interactive activities at the 2023 Ryder Cup in Rome, where the company reported more than 30,000 visits across its activations.

Stuart Langlands, director of sales at Provision Events, said the village had become an important part of the spectator journey.

“We’re incredibly proud of what the team delivered at this year’s Genesis Scottish Open. It was fantastic to see the Fan Experience Village come to life and play such an important role in the spectator journey throughout the week.

“The success of the event is a testament to the dedication of our design, production, project management and on-site teams, who worked tirelessly to deliver an exceptional experience for both our client and golf fans.”

Provision Events Supports The Open

Following the final round in North Berwick on Sunday, Provision Events moved directly to The Open. The company said its team is delivering a range of client activations across the championship.

Its July schedule also includes the ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish Open. Provision Events has confirmed it will support the tournament but has not specified which installations or client projects it will handle.

The Women’s Scottish Open is scheduled for 23–26 July at Dundonald Links in Gailes, North Ayrshire, with its practice day and Pro-Am taking place on 22 July.
