• In reference to Carlos Ortiz, the only player representing Mexico to finish among the top-10 at a US Open was Cesar Sanudo in 1972 at Pebble Beach (T-9). The best finish for a Mexico national in any major championship was T-8, by Abraham Ancer at the 2021 PGA Championship at Kiawah Island.
