Keegan Bradley signed for a 67 on Saturday to take a two-shot lead at 8-under in the Wells Fargo Championship.

Having started the tournament with a 70, he followed it up with a 65 and has now shot the lowest score of the day for two days straight in spite of the heavy rain and low temperatures.

"When the conditions get like this, I find a sense of calm just because I'm sort of worried about other things, keeping my clubs dry and my bag dry. Sort of keeps me in the present. I did that today and I just had a great time with my caddie Scotty [Vail], we just -- we're a good team and we did a lot of good things today.

"Today and yesterday were just really good ball-striking and really good putting. It's rare that we match those up and I've matched that up these last two days. If I can just keep that going a little bit, I'll like my chances."

The American has won four times since his debut on Tour in 2008 but his recent form has produced top-10 results in three of his last five starts.

Bradley was one of only four players to shoot in the 60s, that's tied for the fewest in a round this season with the fourth round of the Arnold Palmer Invitational. The scoring average has risen to 73.7, the highest relative to par on the PGA Tour since the final round of the 2020 U.S. Open.
