Round 1, Round 3, Round 4

Sahith Theegala started the day with a one shot lead before finishing his first round at TPC Scottsdale on Friday morning with a pair of bogeys at the 8th and 9th for a 66.

"I wasn't too upset about the way it started. Like I had a 15-footer to start the day, so I was like, okay, I just put a good roll on it and see what happens. I put a good roll, just missed.

"And the next tee shot I put it under the lip of the fairway bunker and I'm like, okay, I can't do much about that, right? And I knew if I kept putting the ball in the fairway I'm going to have scoring opportunities, so it was nice to reset for the 30 or 40 minutes that I had in between the rounds there."

The American, playing on a sponsor invite, went on to produce a 7-under 64 to move back into the lead of the WM Phoenix Open by two shots.

"I haven't had time to let it set in and hopefully I don't think too much about it because obviously what I've been doing has been working the first couple days, but, yeah, again, just thankful that I'm here and trying to make the most out of the opportunity. No expectations at all, honestly."

Brooks Koepka (66) and a bogey-free Xander Shcauffele (65) are tied in second place at 10-under followed by fellow American Patrick Cantlay who shot a bogey-free 66.

"I thought I drove it really nice," said Koepka. "Excited to see the driver to what I want. Striking it good, maybe lost a little bit of speed there on a few putts, come up a little short, maybe not hit hard enough. But the greens they're getting fast, they're getting firm, it will be interesting to see what they're like tomorrow.
