Rickie Fowler took a one-shot lead heading into the final day of the Zozo Championship with a third-round 66 to reach 14-under.

“I did a lot of things good. I mean, kept it fairly simple on myself, executed pretty well out there today. Didn’t putt as well as I had the last two days. Good solid day. Like I said, it was fairly stress free. I did hit a lot of good putts, but greens were getting pretty beat up late in the day and with the soft conditions, but all you can do is hit good putts and see what happens from there. Hopefully, tomorrow we’ll get a few more to go.”

A win on Sunday would be his first since the 2019 WM Phoenix Open.

“It’s been a while since I’ve been in this situation,” he continued. “Last year at CJ was in a similar situation, but other than that, there hasn’t been much the last few years.

“Obviously remember being in those situations before, but no, it will be tough tomorrow, but also fun. I’m looking forward to the challenge. I’m going to have to play well and continue to do what I’ve been doing the last three days. Keegan, Putty on down the list, there’s plenty of guys within a few shots. I’m out front, in control, but that can change if I don’t execute like I have been.”

Fellow American Keegan Bradley also carded a 66 and lies in second place followed by another compatriot, Andrew Putnam, in third at 12-under.

Norway’s Viktor Hovland shot a 64 to move into fourth place at 11-under.
