Rasmus Højgaard fired two birdies and one bogey to close with a 70 and retain a one-shot lead at 13-under at the Danish Golf Championship.
“The wind was tricky out there, it was gusty, it was changing directions. So yeah, the patience got tested a lot today,” said the Dane.
“It was great, I really enjoyed it, hopefully I can bring some tears out there tomorrow. If I want to go out and play well tomorrow, I have to be able to handle the situation well. I’m looking forward to it. I know it’s not going to be totally enjoyable, but I’m looking forward to it.”
First-round leader Marco Penge of England made three birdies and one bogey for a 69 and lies in second place at 12-under.
Fellow Englishman Ben Schmidt fired eight birdies, including four consecutively from the 3rd, as well as one bogey for a 64 and moved into third place at 9-under.
