Scott Jamieson started the second round two shots behind the lead and closed his first round with a 66.
The Scotsman then fired a brilliant second round 63 to move into a two-shot lead heading into the weekend at 11-under.

"It was another great day. Yesterday after five weeks off I was a little unsure about what I was going to get but it was a solid day and today was even better.
"Pretty similar but I holed one or two more putts and managed to chip in on 15 and then hole a putt from off the green on 18."

Jamieson's form has been good this year garnering him two top-10s but he is still looking for his second Tour title following the 2012 Nelson Mandela Championship presented by ISPS Handa.
"This year I seem to be coming out of the gates very well, I've had some good starts so far and I think it's easier to play the golf course the first two rounds because you're not necessarily playing other people at that point."

Finn Tapio Pulkkanen, who held a share of the lead overnight, fired a 67 to move down into second place.
Spain's Adrian Otaegui carded a 66 and sits in solo third place at 8-under.
Englishman Richard Mansell (64), Scotsman David Law (68), Dane Rasmus Højgaard (67), Austrian Lukas Nemecz (64) and American Johannes Veerman (69) are tied in fourth place at 7-under.
