Max McGreevy completed his second round on Saturday, closing with a 63 to take a share of the lead at 17-under in the Barbasol Championship.

"It feels great. I don’t know if I put 10 birdies together in a tournament the last couple of weeks, so to put it together in one round regardless how
easy the course was playing felt really good. Golf swing feels good, putter feels good. Just kind of giving myself looks and just seemed to keep going in the hole."

After playing three holes of his third round the American held a one-shot lead when play was suspended due to darkness once again.

Keene Trace suffered more heavy showers and play was suspended for two hours while 2 ½ inches of rain hit the course.

Germany's Matti Schmid shared the second-round lead after a bogey-free 63 but was even par through the third hole when play was suspended.

He currently lies in a share of second place at 16-under alongside Canadian Adam Svensson who was leading when play was suspended on Friday and finished his second round with a 67.

Portugal's Ricardo Gouveia lies in fourth place at 15-under followed by Americans Sean O'Hair, Kevin Streelman and Trey Mullinax in fifth at 14-under.
