- Casandra Alexander won the Wistron Ladies Open by three shots.
- The victory clinched the 2026 LET Order of Merit for Alexander with two events of the season remaining.
- England’s Hannah Screen finished alone in second place, her best result on the Ladies European Tour.
Casandra Alexander closed with a bogey-free 8-under 64 at Sunrise Golf and Country Club to win the Wistron Ladies Open by three strokes and wrap up the Ladies European Tour Order of Merit with two events to spare.
The South African, who led after an opening 64 in Chinese Taipei, added rounds of 71 and 68 to start Sunday one shot behind Ching Huang. She finished on 21-under for her fourth LET title and her third win of 2026, following victories at the KPMG Women’s Irish Open and the Buccellati Ladies Italian Open. It was her third victory in five LET appearances.

The world number 27 birdied the 3rd, 6th, 9th and 10th, then found the green in two at the par-5 13th and holed the eagle putt. Birdies at the 16th and the last completed the round.
“That was pretty spectacular, that’s the most comfortable I have felt in a final round,” said Alexander. “Doug [Pirie] and I did unbelievable work at decision making. I wouldn’t say I hit it unbelievable today either, but I just walked off and signed for an 8-under. I made birdies where I needed to and I made some clutch pars.”
“I probably would not have a pinched neck on Friday morning, it would have helped me out a little bit, but we still got the job done,” said Alexander, singling out coach Grant Veenstra, who “has been at home grafting with me, it’s a team effort and it’s a team win”.
“I’m upset that my husband is not here, but that’s alright!” said Alexander.
Order of Merit secured
Alexander now has 3,456.48 points at the top of the standings, an unassailable lead over Canada’s Anna Huang in second place. Australia’s Kelsey Bennett is third, Germany’s Alexandra Försterling fourth and France’s Agathe Laisné fifth.
“That victory solidifies the Order of Merit, I know I’ve kept it on the downlow,” said Alexander. “Going into today’s round, I knew I didn’t have to win, and I wanted to make that clear to myself that I didn’t have to, but I really wanted to.”
Screen pushes the champion
Screen closed with a six-under 66. The Englishwoman birdied the 2nd and dropped a shot at the 4th, then made six birdies in her final 10 holes to finish on 18-under. The result lifted her from 44th to 20th on the Order of Merit.
“Hannah Screen played unbelievably well, she made me work every step of the way,” said Alexander. “A big congratulations to her because that was a really solid performance from her.”
Chinese Taipei’s Pei-Ying Tsai and England’s Mimi Rhodes shared third place on 17-under, a finish that moved Rhodes from 112th to 67th in the standings. Huang, the overnight leader, ended alone in fifth on 15-under, with compatriot Cheng-Hsuan Shih, the 2020 champion, a shot further back in sixth.
Spain’s Ana Pelaez Trivino and Chinese Taipei’s Phoebe Yao tied for seventh on 13-under, and England’s Alice Hewson was ninth after a closing 67. Hong Kong’s Ginnie Ding and Thailand’s Cholcheva Wongras completed the top 10 on 11-under.
The LET moves on to Shenzhen next week for the Aramco China Championship at Mission Hills from November 5 to 8.
