Moa Folke, Alexandra Forsterling and Casandra Alexander share the Buccellati Ladies Italian Open lead at 9-under after Saturday’s second round at Golf Club Milano in Monza.
Folke’s 65 brought her level with Forsterling and Alexander, who each shot 68 after sharing Friday’s lead. Anna Morgan, Cara Gainer, Alice Hewson, Dorothea Forbrigd and Pia Babnik are tied for fourth at 6-under, three shots back going into Sunday’s final round.

Alexander’s eagle and late bogeys
Alexander, who won the KPMG Women’s Irish Open on August 30, made five birdies and one bogey through her first 10 holes. A bogey at the 13th interrupted her progress, but she made eagle at the par-5 14th after hitting a four-iron in to reclaim the outright lead.
The South African birdied the 15th, then bogeyed both the 16th and 17th before closing with a par.
“After I hit a four-iron in [at the 14th], Doug [Pirie] said it was going to be difficult to top that for shot of the day,” Alexander said.
“It was a rollercoaster,” she said. “Up and down all day, but I’ll take it.”
Folke’s birdie finish
Folke made four birdies on the front nine and finished with three in a row from the 16th. The 31-year-old Swede is seeking her first Ladies European Tour title.
“I had a really good day. I just kept building on yesterday when I felt like I was close,” she said. “Today a few more putts dropped, and I’m feeling very solid about my game, which is a good feeling.”
Forsterling made five birdies and one bogey in her 68. The four-time LET winner, whose last victory came at the 2024 Amundi German Masters, has finished runner-up at the Australian WPGA Championship and VP Bank Swiss Ladies Open this season after injury setbacks last year.
Lois Lau begins the final round ninth at 5-under. Home favourites Anna Zanusso and Alessandra Fanali are five shots off the lead at 4-under, among six players tied for 10th.
